The First Rotary Club to be formed in Northampton was the Rotary Club of Northampton was formed in 1922 followed by Northampton West in 1969 and Nene Valley in 1977.

The Rotary Club of Northampton Becket (commonly just called “Becket”) was formed as the first Rotary Breakfast Club in the UK in 1988 with 31 founder members. Many of whom are still active members of the Club - if a little older!

The Rotary Club of Northampton Becket meets at 7.30am every Wednesday at the Cheyne Walk Club, Cheyne Walk, Northampton.

The Club consists of about 40 like minded businesspeople and other individuals who get a great deal of fun in pursuing the objects of Rotary.

Each member has a designated role within the Club and is a member of a committee pursuing one of the spheres in which Rotary tries to help the community. However, on occasions all Club members are called upon to assist in Club ventures.

In 2008 a new Rotary Club was chartered in Northampton. It is mainly for younger people and those with young families. It Meets on Saturdays and is called The Rotary Club of Northampton Apollo Click for their Website
